One of the fun part in Digital Academy

So, I already shared something about Miguel in my timeline. But  if you missed the tweets, Miguel is the Digital Marketing Director of Singtel - Singtel is the biggest mobile phone provider in Singapore (their position is similar to Telkomsel in ID).

Now, imagine the appearance of Miguel. Done?

You might be wrong. He’s not that kind of boring – too investment type of person. In fact, he’s so fun, relaxed and smart.

So as you guys know, for the past 5 weeks, I’ve been in my SG office for the thing called Digital Academy. For this academy, me & Ninoy been given a task related to mobile advertising in SEA market. In order to make some kind of strategy related to that, we need to have an external interview session with the client rep, to know about their POV about mobile advertising for their brand and what’s their personal perspective onto that as well.

With a little help from my mentor, Matthew Drury, we finally can manage a time to have our first client’s interview session with Miguel Bernas. In that session, there was just me, Ninoy and Matthew. And we have prepared the draft of question for Miguel. The questions are still related to our project – around mobile advertising.
The answer for all the questions are unexpected. He really has an interesting point of view about digital itself. He’s not ashamed to admit about the lack from his end. He has the wildest imagination about what mobile phone capabilities 5 years from now.
The most interesting part for me is he describe himself as a windows 8 phone – although he’s an apple user. It’s because he think that apple is too closed. When windows is more open to a lot of things. Yes, somehow it can mirror human’s brain and personality as well.

Point taken from Miguel, if you really have a passion on something, naturally you will be good on it. But you will be eager to do better and hungry for all the things that related to your passion. Not to forget to think more aggressive regarding your passion as well.

So, let's have fun with Miguel:

XO,
Tika
